3. Rule Changes
A. Rule changes go into effect at the beginning of the next season for that sport.

8. Player Pool
A. The available players for a team are the players that are currently on the real life roster of a team in their actual conference in which they are competing in The Show NCAA.
B. If a player transfers out of conference in real life, the player immediately can no longer be owned in The Show NCAA for that conference in which the player is leaving.
C. If a player transfers into a conference in real life, that player is available for the next transfer signing period for The Show NCAA conference in which they are entering. The player can not be signed in the mid season recruiting period.
**9. Contracts/Recruiting Budget**PLEASE READ
A. This is a dynasty league meaning each owner will be able to retain the majority of their players from year to year.
B. A recruiting budget is the sports specific amount of contracts available to be used for that season. Budgets are year to year and non transferable.
B. **A contract is the value that it takes to own a player for that year**.
C. A contract's minimum value possible is 0, and there is no maximum. Values must be whole numbers, not fractions. (1,2,3 etc.).
D. Each sport will have their own salary cap/recruiting budget. Basketball will be 50 and football will be 75. Meaning you have that amount of contracts to award each season to players on your active roster. It is a hard cap.
E. Every year, there will be a 1 week period at the end of each sport's season to determine which of your players will have their scholarships continued and which will have their scholarships pulled. Players with their scholarships pulled will enter The Show NCAA transfer portal.
F. "Scholarship" players are players that have a contract value of 1 or greater. "Walk ons" players are players with a contract value of 0.
G. A transaction (contract offered) that would put a team over the cap or over maximum roster size will be allowed as long as a corresponding move to return the roster to validity is executed within 8 hours of the completion of the move that made the roster invalid. If a corresponding move is not made within the acceptable window, the player will return to recruitment or transfer portal once the commissioner notices it, fixes it, and notifies the league. The previous highest bidder has the opportunity to keep their old bid if they want, but the bid clock restarts on commissioner's discovery and announcement.
H. Using 9G to manipulate the system to intentionally over roster or over spend to gain a competitive advantage in a fantasy matchup is not allowed.
10. Player Retention
A. Scholarships are temporary commitment by the team. Players can be cut mis season with a penalty, or cut at the end of the year with no penalty.
B. At the end of every year, players that have their scholarships continued will be kept on their teams roster for the following year at the same contract value as initially signed.
C. Walk on players in The Show NCAA are for only 1 year and must enter The Show NCAA transfer portal following the year.
11. Player Acquisition
A. There will be only three methods of player acquisition: end of season recruiting, transfer portal, and mid season recruiting.
B. Teams may only sign players that are entering its real life conference. Example, the Big 12 recruiting will have only players who signed letter of intents to Big 12 schools in real life.
C. Main recruiting period- starting 1 day after the last real life signing day for that sport, the main recruiting period begins. All players with a current signed letter of intent to the conference in which you are competing are eligible. The bid clock on players is 24 hours, restarting with each bid. The minimum bid for a player is 1 contract/becoming a scholarship player.
D. Transfer portal- starting August 1st for football and September 1st for basketball, any player that transferred into the real life conference the following season or the current off season, was cut by a team in The Show NCAA, or competed in The Show NCAA as a walk on the previous season are eligible for the transfer portal.
E. Mid season recruiting- between the 1st day of the season to the last of The Show NCAA regular season schedule, mid season recruiting can occur. Any player currently on the roster of the conference in which you are competing that are not already signed to another The Show NCAA team are eligible (except transfers). The minimum bid for a player is 0 contracts, meaning "walk on spots" can be offered. Players cut from The Show NCAA mid season are eligible to be bid on.
F. The bid clock on players is 24 hours, restarting with each bid. To recruit a player, create a thread in the respective board.
G. There will be no trading in this league.
12. Player Cuts
A. Mid season cuts- pulling a scholarship mid season will release the player to the transfer portal immediately; however, contracts offered to that player still affect that team's cap for the remainder of the year. There is a maximum of 1 walk on cut per year. There is no maximum for scholarship player cuts.
B. Off season cuts- pulling a scholarship during the off season will result in no contract penalty to the team. The contracts will be available to be used in upcoming recruiting.
13. Inaugural Free Agency
A. To begin the league, each sport will have a free agency period that lasts until each owner has filled their entire roster.
B. Any player currently on the roster of the conference in which you are competing that are not already signed to another The Show NCAA team are eligible. Incoming seniors in high school are not eligible.
C. To be awarded a player, you must submit an offer higher than the previous offer and remain the highest bid for 24 hours. The 24 clock resets after each bid. The pro boards time stamp is the official time we will go by.
D. Each team may start a thread and bid on a player twice in one calendar day. The minimum bid is 1 contract. The format of your post should be: Title-Player name; Thread-Number of contracts offered
D. Recruiting will begin the following offseason
